My hero is Eazy E. His real name is Eric. He grew up in Compton California and went to Compton High School. He dropped out of high school and joined a gang. After that he started rapping and later performing.
He wasn't always a rapper. His career started as a dj but his friends told him that he should be rapping so he started in a group called N.W.A. and was a big success.
After the group N.W.A. he started a solo career and became famous.
He died of AIDS in 1991 and his music is still just as popular as when he made it.
