Abigail Adams

My Revolutionary hero is Abigail Adams. She was born on November 11, 1744 and died on October 28, 1818. She lived in Weymouth, Massachusetts her whole life. She never went to school because of her poor health. Her father was a reverend at the church.

She married John Adams and together they were very involved in ending slavery. She wrote many letters about helping the black slaves. She also fought for womens' rights, especially their right to an education. Abigal Adams became the First Lady when John Adams became President in 1797. Abigal Adams was a true hero. Although she had no education, she fought for equal rights for women. I think Abigail was one of the best hero because she was a true leader.
