Albert Einstein is by far the most preeminent physicist in modern history. He contributed many things to the world of science, without which, we would not be able to do many things we do today.

Albert Einstein was born in Wutternberg, Germany on March 14, 1879 to Hermann Einstein and Pauline Koch Einstein. In his childhood, he moved to Munich, Germany; He also moved to Pavia, Italy in his adolescence. Albert continued his education in Switzerland, attending the Swiss Polytechnic Institute to learn to be a teacher. Although he had his diploma and his Swiss citizenship, the only job he was able to find in 1901 was a simple clerk position at a patent office. During this time, Albert married his first wife, Mileva Maric, whom he had a daughter and two sons with. He divorced her in 1919, and went on the same year to marry his cousin, Elsa Lowenthal, who died in 1936.

Albert Einstein produced much of his remarkable work while employed at the patent office. His work included:

  • Theory of Relativity
  • Brownian Motion
  • Interchangeability of mass and Energy
  • The Photoelectric Effect
He also proposed the equation E=MC2. While at the patent office, Albert Received one of the 3 doctorates he obtained over his life (Science, Medicine, and Philosophy).

When Albert Einstein quit the Patent office job he had held and enjoyed for about 8 years, he, as a teacher, took many prestigious teaching positions all over the world. His movement lasted from 1909-1945, at which time he accepted a teaching position at Princeton University permanently.

World War II was a very hard time for Albert Einstein. As a Jew, and as a famous scientist, he was considered a prime target for the Nazis. Einstein was a great supporter of pacifism, and refused to take part in the war. He, however, was a proponent of the readiness of European countries against the threat of Nazism. It was during World War II that Albert wrote his famous letter to President Roosevelt about ensuring the United States' preparedness through the research into the use of atomic technologies.

After the war, Albert Einstein continued to be very famous through his actions and discoveries. He was offered presidency of Israel in 1952, which he declined. However, he did assist greatly in founding the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During this time, his later years, he spent much time searching for the one theory that encompassed all of his previous discoveries. He was never able to find one. However, all his work paid a massive deal of help to the fields of Quantum Mechanics and Physics, as well as the scientific world as a whole. We would not be where we are today with our understanding without Albert Einstein's Help.

Albert Einstein died on April 18, 1955 at Princeton, New Jersey. He was 76 years old.

People may think it is hard to honor my hero. However, we can all honor him simply by using high-tech things in our everyday lives. Although it is hard to attribute his work to our daily lives, many things we use in our everyday lives cannot be possible without Albert Einstein's help. We can all honor him simply by using more technology in our daily lives and put all his work to good use.
