For millions of black Americans, Martin Luther King was the profet who built a bridge between races. He was considered a sting of conscience. He was often taken to task by blatant white segregationists who were much more opposed to justice. But ironically King became a subject of racial attack and he was killed for his social movement in bringing justice to America.

So I believe such a person deserves to be a hero -- somebody who has suffered and died for a just cause and societies like Sierra Leone should look forward to such forms of peaceful ways to resolve strife and conflict. So I choose Martin Luther King to be my hero.

My dreams for young people like you to have access to communication information technology to talk about your peacework and advocacy for human rights, to have opportunities to network with other young people in different countries of the world, and share cross-cultural and different cultural backgrounds and ways of behaving so that others in a different culture will understand your situation in Sierra Leone.
