William Roger Chambers

I am going to introduce you to my hero. This wonderful human being was my grandfather. His name was William Roger Chambers, but I lovingly called him Dee-dad along with his other grandchildren. He was a noble man who loved his family.

My grandpa was the friendliest man I knew, he was always kind to everyone he saw. I consider my grandfather to be a peacemaker. He did not like to fight, he actually went out of his way to prevent fights.

I chose my grandfather because he is a hero not just to me but to my whole family. He had the gift of making us happy, because when one of us was sad he would make us feel better. I also chose him because he was generous. I remember the little things, like he always gave me and my cousin’s goodies such as candy shaped like strawberries and soda.

As you can see I loved my grandpa very much. He was a hard working man who loved his family. I think my grandpa will be remembered as a kind man and a peacemaker.
