Our hero is Walter Elias Disney. He was born on December 5th, 1901 in Chicago. He was an American film producer, and director. Disney is one of the most influential figures in the field of entertainment. He also was the co-founder of Walt Disney Productions. His company makes a lot of millions a year.

He designed his park in Los Angeles, and in Orlando Florida. During his life he received twenty two Academy Awards and forty eight nominations and he also won seven Emmy Awards. He was an ambulance driver during the war, because he was a very good man.

He lived in Chicago with his wife Lillian Disney. Later he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he became famous.

Walt Disney died of lung cancer on December 15, 1966 in Los Angeles, few years prior to the opening of Walt Disney World, his dream.

Walt Disney is our hero, because he created a magic world, and he risked everything to made his dream come true, and today since 41 years of his death, he continues making happy every child who watches his movies and tv programmes, and we are very happy because he made a funny life, full of magic, for children and also for adults.
