Terry Fox is my hero because he ran across part of Canada to raise money for cancer. He ran across Canada and didn't quit. He ran even though he had cancer. He died after stopping his run in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Even though he's no longer alive, he still raises money for cancer.

He was resilient because he bounced back from a bad moment in life. That's when he started to run for cancer. He tried to make 1 dollar for every Canadian. He continued to run with a plastic leg. His goal was to raise 25,000,000 dollars but, he raised well over his goal.

He cared for people with cancer. His plastic leg is what allowed him to do the run. He inspires me every day. He ran with his brother and his friend.

Terry fox lived in Vancouver, B.C. He was on the basketball team but he wasn't that good. He started running track until he got cancer. He showed caring by risking his life to help others.

For all these reasons, Terry Fox is my hero.
