Salvana

My hero is my aunt Salvana Mannicci. She was born in 1947 in Italy. After she got married her last name was Albergo. She fought cancer for a long time and unfortunately died when I was young. My hero demonstrates courage through her life because she kept thinking that she could fight cancer but she died in the end.

My aunt was raised in Canada with my mom and my grandma. They never stayed in the same town for a long time. When my mom finished school they stayed in Toronto and that's were she died.

My aunt got cancer when she was in her thirties. She had to go through a lot of treatments and they gave her pills and surgery that made her lose a whole lot of weight. She spent a lot of time suffering.

Her favourite thing to do was be a house designer. If you don't know what that is a home designer/house designer is I'll tell you. It's simply just someone that goes around decorating houses for money. She also liked being clean and her house clean.......she was a clean freak. She also had a Firebird. It was black and red.

I think she demonstrated courage because she thought she could fight it. It all turned into the end of her life. She died in 2000 she was only 55 years old.
