I think a hero is someone who is persistent, loves what he or she does and is kind to others. Steve Jobs is my hero because he was persistent, a creator, and made the world a better place. Steve Jobs was born February 24, 1955. He started his career in 1974 when he was only 19. He built the first computer in his garage in 1975. This is why he is a creator. In 2004, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  He ended his career in 2011 when he died which is why I think he is so persistent.

Steve Jobs created so much technology over the years. He created the iPhone, which was really cool. The first iPhone was unveiled by Steve Jobs, then CEO of Apple, on January 9, 2007, and released on June 29, 2007. The 5th generation iPhone, the iPhone 4s, was announced on October 4, 2011, and released 10 days later. He also created a laptop. There are many versions of it. One version is the MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro is a line of Macintosh portable computers introduced in January 2006 by Apple Inc. It replaced the PowerBook 4G and was the second model, after the iMac, to be announced in the Apple-Intel transition. The MacBook Pro is the high end of the MacBook family and is currently produced with 13-, 15- and 17-inch screens. I think this is good because he kept progressing in his technology.

I think Steve Jobs was persistent. He kept working even when he was sick. In October 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with cancer, and in mid-2004, he announced to his employees that he had a cancerous tumor in his pancreas. He started his career in 1974 and ended in 2011 when he died. His technology made the world a better place and his technology wowed us all.

By making the world a better place, Steve Jobs went to Stanford to speak to a graduating class. He had told the graduates "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. " The speech was very inspirational to people.

In conclusion, Steve Jobs should be considered a hero because he was persistent and never gave up. He was a creator and continued this career until his death. He made the world a better place. He really enjoyed what he did.
