Susan Ann Hamilton

by Logan from Tipp City

Come along and meet my hero Susan. She’s my HERO because she helps me and loves me a lot. She is there for me if I’m in trouble or anything. I call her my grandma or second mom because she says I’m like one of her grandkids or daughter and she treats me like no other person would if I’m not related to them.

Susan’s life was rough and shaky as a child. She was born on October 8th in Martinsville, Indiana. She grew up in Kentucky. She moved from Kentucky to Tipp City.

An accomplishment and challenge that Susan made was when she broke both legs and was told she couldn’t walk again. After a lot of hard work she started walking again. A contribution that she was proud of was doing United Way fundraisers. She still wishes she could still do it.

Susan’s hero is her dad. She has 3 biological grandkids, 11 step, 1 great grandchild and one on the way. She doesn’t visit her hometown a lot because she lives in Tipp City. She can’t drive because she doesn’t have her driver’s license because when she broke her legs it was taken away so someone takes her to her hometown.

She is important to me because I love her. She is really fun as a grandma and is special. That’s why I picked her as my hero.
