My hero is Patrick Roy. He is from Canada. He was born in Quebec City on October 5, 1965. He loved hockey and when he got in the N.H.L. he was # 33 and played for Canada, Montreal, and Colorado. In 1997-98 he got $4,463,260, and in 1996-97 $4,455,944. He retired in 2003 from the Colorado Avalanche as a goaltender. He is one of the best goaltenders. He is 6’2 and 190 lbs. He has over 1000 saves.

In 2000 he got a neck injury. From 1996 – 1999 he won 101 games. He scored 3 goals. He was in the hall of fame in 2007 for one of the best goalies in the world. He has loved his family and friends for his whole life. He’s a coach in the W.H.L. He inspires me became he made me love hockey. Now I play it and watch it and my favorite team is the Colorado Avalanche. Patrick Roy inspires me to love sports , and love hockey.
