Bobby Orr is my hero. His parents were Doug and Arva. He was born March 20, 1948 in the town of Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. His sisters are Penny and Pat and his brothers are Ron and Doug Jr. His dad, Doug, believed that his son, Bobby Orr, could be great.

Bobby Orr has done lots of great things. He has Played in the NHL for Boston and Chicago. He is considered the best defenseman in the world. He won the Art Ross Trophy in 1970 and 1975. He won the Hart Rose Trophy in 1970,1971 and in 1972 and The James Norris Trophy in 1968,69,70,71,72,73,74,75. He was also awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1970 nad 1972, The Lester B.Pearson Trophy in 1975 and the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1967.

Bobby Orr is my hero because he signed hockey sticks for my whole team. A friend of the person who sponsors our hockey team is a friend of Bobby Orr so he asked if he could sign all of these sticks for all of our team. Bobby Orr has inspired kids to play hockey. He is the one who inspired me to play hockey. It is good to play hockey because kids can get active.

Bobby Orr is now 60 and is married to Abra and has 2 sons. Bobby Orr is a great person. He gave me something that I will pass on through my family and will treasure forever.
