Oprah Winfery

Oprah Winfrey was born January 29th 1954. She was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She grew up in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Her family members were: Vernita Lee was her mom, Vernon Winfrey was her dad and Hattie Mae was her Grandma. Her half brother died from AIDS. Her education: She received a B.A degree from Tennessee State University. Her interests as a youth were to keep peace and to spend time with her family.

Oprah loved reading and always wanted to receive an Academy Award. Oprah's challenges were she had to earn enough money to build a new school in Africa for girls.

Oprah grew up in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She has her own TV show called Oprah. She built an all girls school in Africa. She had parents who fought every day. She also had her half brother die from aids.

Oprah is a hero to me because she helps a lot of people and she will donate money to families in need and she will build things like schools in Africa. The character traits that Oprah showed and is showing today is caring because she will donate money to families in need and she helps families get over hard times.
