Norm Justin James Minnikin

My hero is my dad. His name is Norm Justin James Minnikin. He likes the color green. He fixes computers and makes websites for a living. He also loves basketball, bowling and pizza.

My dad is awesome because he would risk his life to save a stranger. Once when my dad was standing outside, this huge tanker truck made a wrong turn and came rushing back and smashed into my house.

My dad stepped out of the way and he rolled across the street, right through traffic and got on the sidewalk. Then he thought "OH NO", because he thinks the person is still in the truck. He rolled into the traffic again because the tanker truck was leaking gasoline. It could blow up. When he got there he saw that no one was in the truck so he rolled again, pulled his back and he had to walk with a cane ever since.

My dad is a hero to me because he's always nice. He buys me things that I need and he always helps me with homework when he can. He is always there for me when I need him.

In conclusion, my dad is my hero because he rolled into oncoming traffic and survived. He risked his life to save another.
