Alonza is a professional basketball player. Some people call him ZO. He has played with three teams in the NBA--Charlotte Hornets, New Jersey Nets, and Miami Heat. He has overcome kidney disease. After a kidney transplant, he won the NBA championships. He showed a lot of courage by continuing to play basketball.

Alonzo Mourning demonstrates heroism by helping the youth. He helps the environment. He helps the youth play basketball. He has centers that help people. Most of the time he is very kind-hearted by being kind to his teammates, friends and family. This is why Alonzo is my hero.
