Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta. He wanted to give blacks equal rights. Martin made a famous speech called “I Have a Dream”. It inspired many people to give blacks equal rights. Martin never did anything violent. This way he won the Nobel Peace prize. Martin freed many people from slavery. He inspires me to treat people the way I want them to treat me, no matter what color skin they have. Sadly he was murdered on April 4, on a hotel balcony. Now we celebrate his birthday on January sixteenth. I will never forget his deeds.

Even though he passed away everyone remembers him as a hero. I hope that nobody forgets him. Martin is a true hero.
