Do you know what a hero is? A hero is someone who is always there for you and inspires you to do new and great things. That is my mom. She is always there for me and cares for me. That is why she is my hero. My mom was born June 30th. She said she had a good childhood and grew up in North Hampton, Ohio, and said she lived in Florida for one year. She said she didn’t like it because there were creepy bugs everywhere and it was too hot. After she moved back she said that she and her brother Chris went to Florida 2 times a year for vacation. Her parents were Don and Joan Mills. She said the most important thing her parents told her was to trust them. Today she lives in Tipp City Ohio with my stepdad Jeff, my brother C.J. and me. My mom said that her most valuable moment was having me and CJ.

Some of my mom’s challenges are that she works a lot, she is divorced, used to work all night, raising two kids, and going to college while pregnant with me. Some of her accomplishments were that she got remarried to Jeff, went to Clark State nursing school, got a AASRN Degree for nursing, had me and my brother, and got a special certificate to work in emergency rooms and with senior citizens and children. My mom contributes to the school by volunteering, my mom works with senior citizens to get them better health care, she is a registered voter, and volunteers at my swim meets.

My mom is very important to me. She supports me and does what is best for me. My mom helps me with everything and does a lot for me. She teaches me new things and makes me really happy. She makes me smile and laugh. My mom is a very great person. I want to be just like her. That is why she is my hero and the best friend I will ever have.
