My hero is Mother Teresa. She helped the poor people, she was very caring and that’s why Mother Teresa is my hero. When Mother Teresa was helping the poor people she got very sick with tuberculosis. Mother Teresa spent a while recovering in the hospital from tuberculosis.

Mother Teresa started helping the poor in 1922, when she was 12 years old. In 1928 Mother Teresa joined the sisters of Loreto in Ireland. In 1931 Mother Teresa took her first vow as a nun, becoming sister Teresa in honor of the patron saint of missions. In 1935 Sister Teresa began to teach at a school outside the convent, where she saw the misery of the poor people.

When she was helping the poor she did not give up. She also thought of other people’s needs before her own.

But unfortunately, Mother Teresa died in 1997. Her inspiring words still live on.

For all these reasons above Mother Teresa is my hero.
