Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929. He was born in Atlanta Georgia. His father was a minister at a church. Martin Luther King Jr. is my hero because he made the law fair so black and white people can be in the same school. By Morgan S.


Martin Luther King Jr. was very smart in school. He skipped two grades. He started college at 15 years old. He studied religion. He is a hero because he helped blacks and whites go to school together. By Devin L.


Martin told blacks to fight for change. He also led marches through towns. Blacks and whites began to hold sit-ins. In cafes they sat down at the white-only areas. They also went to white-only bathrooms, they also did that on buses. Martin Luther King Jr. is a hero because he made a change that blacks and whites could be equal and that they could go to the same school. By Addy B.


Martin Luther King was famous because he thought that it was not fair that blacks and whites were treated differently. He also recited his famous "I Have A Dream" speech about his dream for children, black and white, to be friends and no longer be divided. They would care and love each other instead. He changed our minds and took a stand, we will never forget Martin. He will live in all our hearts. Martin Luther King Jr. is my hero because black or white, we’re all the same deep down inside. Martin Luther King Jr. died on April 4, 1968. He was shot by a man named James Earl Ray. He is honored the third Monday in January every year. He is a hero because he thought it wasn’t fair that whites and blacks couldn’t go to school with each other. By Eden G.
