My hero is Martin Luther King Jr. He is my hero because he helped Blacks; he continued the movement to stop racism, and his speech touched lives.

Martin Luther King Jr. started helping Black people after taking many years of racist remarks, pain and being treated like dirt. He took action being the idol of many people all over the world, Black, White, Chinese, Spanish; they all found him to be inspiring.

Martin Luther King Jr. continued the movement to stop racism much like his father and Gandhi. Martin did this with his empowering speeches and taking a stand.

Martin Luther King Jr. most inspiring speech was in 1963. He was killed in 1968 for his movement to stop racism.

Martin Luther King Jr. is my hero for taking a stand, fighting for his people, and not giving up even if it killed him.
