Martin Luther King, Jr. is my all time hero. He was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a brave black man that expressed his thinking to the world. He put in efforts to end segregation and discrimination that was happening during his time.

Martin Luther King, Jr. made his most popular speech ["I Have a Dream"] to the world in front of the Lincoln Memorial. He led the Montgomery Bus Boycott [after the arrest of Rosa Parks in December 1 1955] and non-violent protests/strikes.

Martin Luther King, Jr. fought for what he believed in. He showed me that the only way to get what you want is when you fight for what you believe in.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s efforts to fight for civil rights and end discrimination & segregation have changed the world we live in today. All the work and efforts Martin Luther King Jr put into have helped to stop discrimination & segregation and have improved civil rights. It brought him to see his dream in the real world. Martin Luther King Jr. taught me that the efforts you put in your beliefs & hopes can and will take you somewhere closer to them one day.
