My hero is Leonardo Da Vinci. He was one of the greatest people who ever lived. He was born in 1452 in a puny town called Vinci. He later became an apprentice to Verrochio. One of Leonardo's paintings were so good that Verrochio never painted again. He was a very talented painter, but he had many other gifts. Leonardo was an Italian polymath, being a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer.
