Kurt Warner is an NFL quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. Almost everybody knows him as a football player, but what they don’t know is that he helps people all over who need food, shelter, and clothes. That is why he is my hero.

Kurt Warner was a bag boy at a grocery store before he went to Arena Football. Later on in that season, the St. Louis Rams picked him up. He won 1 Super Bowl with the Rams and he donated half of the salary cap to Camp Barnabas. Camp Barnabas is a camp that helps kids with Down Syndrome and kids that have bone disease do fun stuff. Kurt Warner’s son Zachary is legally blind and has brain damage from being dropped when he was a baby.

Kurt Warner also helps with Punt Pass and Kick. He participates in this with the whole Arizona Cardinals team. Punt Pass and Kick is a contest for kids. Kids participate in a contest where they punt, pass and kick a football. The person with the longest total distance wins.

He also does Warner’s Warm-up. He gives people coats in the winter time when people don’t have money to buy one. He does this in St. Louis with his wife, Brenda.

Kurt Warner is a great example of a hero. He helps his community, he does good things for people he doesn’t know, and he does what I want to do when I grow up. He does all this during the NFL football season. That is why he is my hero.
