Kevin Carroll

Hi I'm Sydney and my hero is Kevin Carroll. He is a scientist that helps animals by applying an artificial body part. My favorite story is about a dolphin named Winter. Her tail got stuck in a crab trap. Kevin Carroll saved that dolphin by taking a mold of Winter's stump and then he took a 3D scan of the mold. The tail was then carved based on that model.

Kevin Carroll is my hero because he helps animals that are about to die. He helps me to see that even saving one life is important. I want to work with animals when I grow up and Kevin is a true hero to me.
