Jesse Owens is a great hero. He is my hero because he inspires me to reach my goals. He was a track star for the US Olympic team. He won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany. Despite the bad comments that had come on in his life, he overcame that by never giving up.
