Have you ever had a dad that is very supporting, who teaches you how to look at things differently from another perspective, and who encourages you to achieve your goals? Well, my dad is all of the above. That is why John C. Lange is my hero.
My father has a great sense of humor. One time he was giving me a bath in the sink when I was a baby, and he left my diaper on! Every time we look back at that moment, we laugh. He really loves to teach me about cars and mechanical things because he is a mechanic. I have to admit it kind of is fun to learn about that stuff. He has also taught me about household repairs, because he works on other people's houses. He always thinks ahead before he does something or buys something for his personal business. My father is a person who is not selfish. He has also taught me how to play pool, how to iron, and he taught me how to use the computer, and now I am teaching him everything I know about computers.
My outstanding father lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, by himself in his own home. I love my dad so much that sometimes I wish he lived with me and my mom. I bet he wishes he could be with me everyday.
I chose my dad to be my hero because he is very inspiring, he makes me want to be a better person. My dad has made a big difference in my life. I probably would not be as successful at school if it were not for my dad teaching me how to not let anything stop me from achieving my goals.
My father John C. Lange is a family hero. But most importantly, he is making me a better person. My life would be very different if my father were not around.
