I think that a hero is a person who acts right and fair. The hero commits actions that people will remember and be proud of and admire. Still, a hero for me is someone who strives to achieve his/her dreams, believes in himself and pursues his own goals.

My hero is Joanna House. I like very much. Joanna was born in the town of Jacksonville, Florida on April 9 in 1980. As a child she showed great interest in fashion. She graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and entered the University of Florida, where she received her degree in international relations. Joanna speaks Japanese and Spanish. During the study Joanna attempted to begin a career in the fashion business, but during her studies she failed because her body did not fit the fashion standards. She had a dream and one day her dream came true. She became world famous fashion model.

I think she is a hero because she achieved her goal and became a very famous top model in spite of some obstacles in her life. She believed in herself and worked hard.
