Joe Heck

by Connor from Bradford

Oh rats! I shouldn't have done that!

In February, in Freeport, Illinois, my hero was born. People, i'm going to tell you about my Grandpa Joe Heck. My Grandpa is my hero because he will always make time to see me. He went to St Joseph's Grade School and Aquin High School.

My Grandpa's influence was his grade school teacher, Father Dakus. Father Dakus taught my grandpa how to think for himself and make his own opinions.

My grandpa had the accomplishment of getting his poem published in 1985 or 1987.

My hero demonstrates caring. My Grandpa is caring because he always lets me visit him and sometimes he visits me. My Grandpa cooperates because he makes solutions. My Grandpa is honest because he is truthful.

So now you know why my Grandpa is my hero.
