My hero Is Bethany Hamilton. Bethany was born in Kauai, Hawaii and she is 14 years old and she still lives in Kauai with her mom and dad . SHE LOVES SURFING! Every weekend she most likely goes surfing.

She lost her arm surfing on Halloween morning. The waves were huge; it was perfect until a tiger shark attacked and she lost 60% of her blood. She was lucky she could swim to safety and could get help.

She’s been surfing since she was a child and she is very talented and can surf with one arm. Today she still surfs with strong bravery.

She inspires me by her strong bravery. Some day I hope to have as strong as bravery as her.
