His dad played in the NHL so that must be why he plays in the NHL. His dad played for the New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, Toronto Maple Leafs, Florida Panthers and the Vancouver Canucks. Sam Gagner is number 89. He is a center and shoots right. Sam has tied a record with Wayne Gretzky. The record was 8 assists in 8 games. He has 48 points: 12 goals and 36 assists.
