Friendship & The Hero Within

By Alyssa Karalnick & Cindy Mendoza
at Taft High School

“Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are” Russian Proverb

What does friendship mean?
Taft High School students Alyssa Karalnick and Cindy Mendoza interview students at their school about what friendship means to them, and talk about the most significant friendships in their lives.

“Real friends leave large sets of mental Polaroid picture memories from the best moments of life, that have not yet faded.”

Friendship to me is...

Someone I can count on to help me in the hard times...

Being there for a person no matter what, and helping him or her out whenever they need it...

Friends are trustworthy and people you can have fun with...

“A friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born” ~ Anais Nin
