Frank Clark Moore

by Jenelle from Morinville

My hero is my grandpa. He fought in World War II and his rank was sergeant. He was injured in the line of duty but his injuries were not fatal. He was my mom’s dad. His name was Frank Clark Moore and was born October 27, 1910 and died in May of 1977. He died at home at the age of 67. He was in the Saskatchewan regiment during the war. After the war he was a welder by trade.

My family really misses him and I would say that my mom's hero would be her dad, which is my grandpa. I never met my grandpa before but I know lots about him and I say that he is my hero.

My grandpa’s hero would probably be his family and I’m proud of that!

My grandpa never met me either but I’m sure he loves me. I love my grandpa not only because he was in the war but because he was also in my family.

My grandpa is my hero and that is what makes him special!!!!
