Some famous people inspire parents and kids alike. My hero is famous but not a movie star. He is a famous architect who inspires me and has inspired my dad. He is Frank Lloyd Wright, a man who was ahead of his time, a modern house builder in the 1900s.

Frank Lloyd Wright was born June 8, 1867 in Richland Center, Wisconsin, USA. He died April 9, 1959. He was ahead of his time because he built modern structures unlike any others at that time. As a kid he built with 3-D blocks and he made fictitious cities with them. Frank Lloyd Wright went to college at an early age. He took classes part-time for two semesters while apprenticing under a local builder and professor of civil engineering. He attended the University of Wisconsin as a special student in 1885. He built really weird houses in his time but modern in ours. He built a house named Falling Water in 1939 and it is still a cool house that my mom wants to get. That inspires me to be like him, a modern house builder but I would be one in the 21 century.

Frank Lloyd Wright inspires me because he didn’t follow what other people did. He never did anything the same. I think that people should be like him and always follow their dreams. If you always follow the ways of others, you never get anywhere. He also built houses even if people didn’t like them because they were modern and ahead of their time. Another reason Frank Lloyd Wright is my hero is because he was persistent in his work and his life. I want to be like that so I can stay on the right track when I grow up and so other people can too.

Like I said, some famous people can inspire you even if you never knew them and they may not be living today. You should still think about them and remember them just like my hero Frank Lloyd Wright. He is not alive but my dad, my mom, me and a lot of other people still remember him and praise him because he was a good man and architect too.
