Evgeni Malkin

Do you know who Evgeni Malkin is? Evgeni is my hero because he's my favorite hockey player in the NHL and he plays for my favorite hockey team, the Pittsburgh Penguins. Evgeni scores a lot of goals. He is also very quick and has lots of skills. Once he jumped over someone and was still able to keep the puck on his stick and get a goal!!

Evgeni Malkin was in the 2004 entry draft to the Penguins. He played in the LLHF World u20 championship. After that he played in the LLHF World u18 championship in Russia.

My hero has played in four Olympic games for hockey. He played for Russia in the games. Malkin has accomplished six years of hockey in the NHL so far. Malkin has also played over 79 games in the NHL. He went to college at Mokaro University in Russia.

When I grow up I wish to play just like him. Evgeni started playing hockey when he was nine and I started when I was five! I want to play hockey for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I also want to play in the Olympics just like him some day.
