Earl Boykins

Earl Boykins was born June 2nd, 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio. His mother’s name is Charlene, his father’s name is Willie, his sister’s name is Charnella. His wife’s name is Keyan and he has a son named Earl Jr. Earl went to elementary school at Sue Cleveland. His high school was Cleveland Central Catholic. He went to college at Eastern Michigan. Earl was the leading scorer in the state during his senior season.

He’s able to bench press over 2x his weight. He is able to dunk the ball at 5 ft 5 in. Earl played five hundred eighty seven games in his carrier. Earl is the second shortest listed player of basketball. He signed a contract of three million five hundred thousand dollars. His college coach was so embarrassed he changed his height on the roster to 5 ft. 7in.

Earl’s career is playing basketball. The teams he was on are: Rockford Lightning, New Jersey Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats, Virtus Bologna, Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks. He was put in the NBA because of his characteristics like speed and making assists. He was not put in the NBA because of his height.

Earl got to play in the NBA even though he was the second shortest listed player of basketball. He made a record of 624 assists before he graduated. The thing going on in the world at the time was in 1999 Pluto again became the outer most planet. NASA lost the Mars climate orbiter. Eileen Collins became the first woman shuttle commander.

He showed you don’t have to be tall to be good. He is a hero because of what he accomplished.
