My Dad

Every person has a hero. For one, a hero is their dog or cat, for another he is a grandfather or the best friend. Some people consider that his choice their cartoon’s hero or favourite toy. The choosing depends only on a person. My hero is my dad.

Why? Now I’ll try to answer this question. My dad is my very good friend. He always helps me, if I’m in trouble. He makes me happy when I’m sad. Sometimes I make very bad mistakes in my life but he doesn’t punish me – he helps me to correct them. Once he even saved my life! It happened in summer, when we gathered apples. I went up on the top of the tree because there were a lot of apples there. But unexpectedly the branch of the tree broke and I flew down! My heart was frozen with horror! I thought that my life would stop then! I closed my eyes for a moment but when I opened them I found myself 5 cm away from the ground upside down. My dad caught me by my legs. I will never forget that story. Maybe some people don’t agree with me but I think that my dad made a heroic deed, he saved my life! And I can safely say that my dad is my hero.
