My dad

My Dad (I drew it)

My hero I picked was my dad. His parents lived in Portugal then his dad moved to Biggar, Saskatchewan, till he got enough money to bring his mom to Biggar, Saskatchewan. My dad was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan.

My dad is my hero because he’s strong, brave, fun, exiting, cool, and weird. He’s fun and exciting because he plays football, golf, baseball, and hockey. He’s strong and brave because he lifts planks, metal bars, boat lifts and trailers. He’s weird because when we watch MacGyver he always starts to sing the MacGyver theme song whenever MacGyver does something heroic.

He affects my life because he plays with me when my cousins are gone or he brings me on trips to Calgary, Jasper, Drumheller, and Banff. My hero has taught me to always enjoy life no matter what the temperature is or what is going to happen at work that day.

I have learned to respect everybody in everything and don’t judge the person by their looks. He’s taught me about being a hero by never getting mad at people if they laugh at you or make fun of you. He has made a difference in my life by making it a whole lot more fun in my life. He has inspired me to work hard and have fun in life.
