My hero is Charles Dickens. Charles John Huffam Dickens is a famous novelist. A novelist is someone who writes big books. Some famous novels he has written are Oliver Twist, A Tale of Two Cities, and a Christmas Carol. He is my hero because long time ago Britain had lots of poor people and they were treated badly. His books brought great pleasure and helped improve conditions for the poor.
Charles Dickens was born on February 7, 1812 and he died on June 9, 1870.
