My hero is Bode Miller. Bode was born on October 12, 1977 in Easton, New Hampshire to Woody and Jo Miller. His parents were hippies who wanted to live a simple life. He was raised in the New Hampshire forests without electricity or running water.

He got his first skis at age three and began competing at eleven. In high school he was a tennis state champion and a soccer player. In 1996 he became a part of the U.S. Ski Team. He is now a professional ski competitor and he won the World Cup a couple of times. This season, Bode won almost all the races [he competed in]. He is still the leading skier in the World Cup but Benjamin Raich is very close.

Bode is single for now, and he lives in Easton, New Hampshire, USA.

He is important to me because he is the best ski competitor in the last few years and he is cute too. I watch World Cup races often.
