Burt Reynolds is my hero because he entertained me many times when I was bored. A hero is someone who helps you out when you are having a hard time or need someone to make you feel better. Burt Reynolds is a famous movie star who has entertained many people.

Burt was born on February 11, 1936 in Waycross, Georgia. His parents were Burton Lee Reynolds and Fern Miller. His father was drafted into the United States Army. He attended Palm Beach High School and was named First Team All State. After that he attended Florida State University on a scholarship. He became an all-star halfback.

He was in many great films and he was even offered the role of James Bond after Sean Connery. He is also good friends with famous movie actor Clint Eastwood. Some of Burt's movies include White Lightening, Sharky's Machine, Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance, The Longest Yard, and many other great films. Lately he has co-starred in a few movies like the new Longest Yard with Adam Sandler. He was awarded the Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award. It's considered the greatest of the greatest of the great.

Burt Reynolds is currently 74 years old and has had open-heart surgery. He is living in Florida in his mansion that he is trying to sell. He wants to sell it for 7 million. He has a 24-hour nursing service because of his current surgery. He said that he is doing much better and wants to live until he is 199. I guess a lot of people would like that.

I really enjoy watching his movies and could watch some of them over and over again without getting sick of them. My favorite movie of his was White Lightening. It was about running moonshine whiskey. I also like Smokey and the Bandit. Burt Reynolds is my hero.
