Follow these five easy steps to submit your short film

Download and fill out the Film Festival Entry Form on the MY HERO Web site or submit online through Withoutabox.


Output Film from editing program to either a DV tape or to Quicktime Movie File. (uncompressed .mov file burned onto a DVD or CD: full resolution please, we will compress it) Please do NOT make a DVD that plays automatically – we need the .mov file only.

Label your entry clearly with TITLE, Director's name, age, grade, e-mail address, date, type of project (narrative, animation, documentary or experimental film), and total running time (TRT). Films must be 10 minutes or under.

Download and fill out any applicable Release Forms and/or Parental Consent Forms.
