Tatchapon says:

My film’s concept started from one simple idea. Since I was young, I wanted to be archaeologist since I feel it is very amazing to see and touch the bone of extinct life by yourself. This idea is the inspiration for my film but I change the period of time and style to be science-fiction as my favorite and make it more interesting.

My film is about one regular robot which has a boring life in mechanical planet. He spends his normal life in one day fixing his robot bird. In the meantime, unfamiliar objects flow to him. He wonders what it is and finally, he found that the piece in his hand is the one living thing which suppose to be extinct for a while. Finally, he decides to save that life even it’s dangerous adventure and he may be destroyed.

The explorers seem to be exact definition for robot. He has full human instincts since he first meets the flower petal. Curiosity is the only one and the most powerful feeling which inspire explorers from time to time to start their great adventure.

My name is Tatchapon Lertwirojkul. I was born in Bangkok, Thailand. I graduated from architectural department for bachelor degree and work as an architect for 5 years. During that time, I was introduced to 3d studio max for visualize architectural concept. Then I have been addicted to 3d world as a new tool to present my concept. On May 2007, after I graduated from Master Degree computer art department, school of visual arts, I was start looking for film festival to submit my thesis. Then I found the MY HERO Film Festival from Without a box website. This is the one festival I put it in my “to submit” list because I think my film is really relevant about their theme.
