The Wright Brothers Rafael says: I think humanity has a special ability for making thinks just for joy. The invention of the airplane is a good example of this. People in the 1900s didn’t have the necessity of flying. When the Wright brothers invented the Flyer, the world’s transportation leveled up into a new age of air transportation. I think it is not only the Wright brothers or other smart people who make this kind of important inventions. The whole worlds way of thinking is what makes all things come true. Finally, I conclude that my video helps to show how anybody can make something that can help others. |
About Rafael Campillo Rafael says: I was born in Xalapa, Mexico in February 15, 1994. I have been living here for 12 years, but when I was 4 years old, I moved to England and lived there for a year. I’m an enthusiast for music and for aviation, and that’s why I chose the Wright Brothers as a topic for my project. I play the bass guitar and keyboards. My favorite band is Pink Floyd, and my favorite musician is Jaco Pastorius, followed by Guy Pratt, both bassist. When I grow up, I want to be a pilot and a professional musician if possible. I heard about The MY HERO Project in my English class, here in Xalapa. My teacher Guillermo told my friends and me (my friends include Marino and Andres, authors of Hipólito Rodriguez video) that this was a global project, and showed us some videos. After we saw all of them, we thought it was a great idea and we agreed. |
