LAGUNA BEACH, CA. The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for
web sites and individual achievement in technology and creativity, today
nominated MY HERO as Best SPIRITUALITY web site of 2004 for its "Heroes of
Faith

Hailed as "the online Oscars" by Time Magazine, The Webby Awards are determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a diverse organization that includes over 480 members such as musicians Beck and David Bowie, internet inventor Vint Cerf, political columnist Arianna Huffington, and "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening.

The Webby Awards honors the outstanding web sites that are "setting the
standards for the internet," said Tiffany Shlain, founder of The Webby
Awards.

MY HERO's Webby Award nomination is a "testament to the imagination,
ingenuity, and dedication of its creators", adds Maya Draisin, Executive
Director of The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
MY HERO is pleased to be acknowledged as a leader in the category of
spirituality.

The MY HERO web site has been sharing stories of hope and courage for over
six years with people of all ages around the world. This not-for-profit project is a labor of love and continues to grow because of the contributions of stories from professionals and students who celebrate the best of humanity on this interactive web site.
