Juannee D. Milller

by Damien from Dalton

Many people may say that Michael Jordan is their hero because he's famous, but just because he's famous can't be the only reason he's your hero.

Sacrifice, loyalty and inspiration are some of the many qualities that my hero has. Juannee D.Miller is my hero.

She's very devoted to her family. She always says "Do unto others as others do unto you." That's one of the many sayings that she says. Juannee is one of the most inspiring women I know.

She's sacrificed her life many many times. Juannee left Hawaii with only $135 to her name and still made it on her own. She's witnessed her mother physically abused. So many times she wished that she could give up all dreams and leave all those devastating moments behind, but she knew she was a survivor.

Juannee was a very loyal mother to her family. Even when she only had $1 to her name she went out of her way to provide for her family. Many people thought she was crazy but she wasn't. She gave up a college scholarship just so that her only child that was born on April 25,1991, the day she was suppose to begin her first day at USC just so that her son would be taken care of.

Juannee D. Miller is the most inspiring woman I know. She inspired me to shoot for the stars. She always told me to treat a lady with respect and good fortunes will return in greatness. Although, she has been treated very poorly in her lifetime she overcame the odds. She just says "another case of bad luck."

Juannee D. Miller my mother, my hero. She had dreams and she fulfilled them. Although she has had some rainy days, she continues to look at the bright side of life. She is inspiring and loyal. She sacrifices daily.

Do you know anyone like this? Many people may say, "I don't have a hero, but I bet they do. "Do you have a hero?"
