My mom is my hero. She is the best at making other people happy. She is very sincere. Some famous people seem to be cool and make you think they one of the best people around, but my mom just is. If you know her you know that. She doesn't pretend to be someone she's not.

My mom worked three jobs to support us when she got divorced. She had me and raised me to be a good child, and that's a pretty good accomplishment. She also got remarried. We have a dog and fish. Now, she works at Versa Die Cast Inc. in New Hope, Minnesota. They make metal and aluminum parts for different stuff. I ask her what she does there, but she always says she does everything. She answers phones, runs around the building making sure orders are correct, opens and separates the mail, and files all sorts of things.

One thing that my mom always taught me was "practice makes perfect." I thought that was just a saying, but now it makes a lot of sense. She taught me how to "roll with the change." Like if I'm mad at something it's pretty easy for me to get over it.
