My hero is my grandpa, Roy Bishop. He shows caring, empathy and perseverance. He is 79. He has been delivering papers for four years now. In the next paragraphs you will see how my grandpa helped free the Jews. He told me he helped free Canada. He helped his fellow soldiers. He encourages people never to give up. He also helps an old lady by bringing her medication. This is how he shows empathy.
My grandpa told my dad not to be a loser. He still helps my uncle Dave. He told me to stand up for myself. He still helps people today. This is how he shows perseverance.
My grandpa has been taking care of my cousin for 10 years now. He looks after me too. He saved people. This is how he shows caring.
My grandpa has done that and lots more. For all these reasons my grandpa is hero.
