Nadine Moore

by Connor from Wheeling

She is my salvation. If I feel bad, or am hurt, I can go to her. She is my mom and I couldn’t live without her. She has taught me all I know, and to be who I am today. I admire her, and I always will, she is my hero forever.

She was born in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio. Her mother, Nanna Schilling, was a nurse. She is retired. Her father, John Schilling Jr. was in the army and fought in the Cold War. He now works as the custodian in a school in Martin’s Ferry. He is retiring soon. Now, Nadine works as Edgewood Evangelical Lutheran Church’s secretary.

Without her, I’d be lost. When I’m in trouble, she is there for me. She is my dear mother and is the best. I wouldn’t have gotten to be one of the smartest in the class without her. She again is my hero forever. When I have a project, or am in all-around trouble she does not let me give up or take the easy way out. She would help me until I know more than I would even need. I feel I expand my knowledge every time I talk to her.

She has utter confidence in me and has bestowed it to me, her son, by encouraging me even as all hope goes down the toilet, and that is why I love her.
