Neil Armstrong was a hard working, inspiring man. He was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was the first man on the moon and a respected person throughout the entire world. I chose him because throughout his life he persevered to get to the moon. Everyone thought he would never make it, they were toying with way the world works and besides the moon is too far away. But not for Neil Armstrong. Neil never stopped dreaming about going to the moon, but he did more than dream. It was his life mission to make that dream a reality. He flew lots of planes and rockets, but none went high enough for Neil.

Then one day Neil boarded the Apollo 11 and took off into space and landed on the moon and the whole world watched in awe as he took that small step that would leave a dent in history.
