“I’m nothing,” said my hero, Mother Teresa. She said this because she was trying to get other people to talk about the poor, not her. Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 26, 1910. She spent her years living in Calcutta, India. It was September 5, 1997 when Mother Teresa died.
Mother Teresa’s obstacles are not having enough money to carry out her intentions. The achievements that Mother Teresa accomplished are that she opened a clinic for the ones who were almost dying. Also, she made a school for the kids in India, so they would have an education. Mother Teresa never gave up helping the poor.
Mother Teresa’s mother influenced her by telling her that she could serve God. The prayers also influenced Mother Teresa. This changed Mother Teresa’s life when she became a nun, when she went into the life of God, and when she entered our home, the Church.
My hero, Mother Teresa, influences me by not giving up her dreams and by making new things for others such as clinics for the ones who needed them and schools for children to get an education. She also communicated with the poorest of the poor. I consider her a hero because she was serving God while she helped the poor. I feel great that I get to have opportunities to go to church and to see God’s wonderful home. When I help others, I think that I’m just a simple thing that doesn’t really need anyone to have care about and I feel that I don’t need any importance. “Only the poor would need a person to help them,” would be my answer if you asked me to talk about myself.
Something that inspired me are Mother Teresa's quotes. Mother Teresa inspired me so much, that I thought of her as a hero.
